The Universe Is Not Popping Into Your Tarot Reading
Just because you get a reversal, now we’re deepening and going into the root chakra of the person, and creating some sort of a narrative or judgment on what’s going on with them. As if being on earth ain’t enough. Reversed cards show when energy is blocked? That’s if the tarot reader makes it up. Oh, you have some blocked energy, for real.
There is no lower self, higher self. Upright is correct. Tarot cards upright are being read correctly. So if you turn them upside down, they are being read incorrectly. It is not the opposite. It is right or wrong. Upright is not higher self, so reversals can’t be lower self, because upright is just correct. It’s not a comparison, and it’s not an opportunity to go into comparison.
It’s not the universe, child, and the universe is not in on this. The universe is not in your fly by night, free, whatever kind of clickbait title obsession era tarot. Time and space is there. Your state of being, your relative consciousness is there. Maybe you might reach out to some sort of a spiritual aspect of yourself, or try to get a glimpse into your future. But the universe, if it’s not already alive inside of you with awareness, is not just popping into your quick tarot reading. I don’t care how many crystals and soft music is going on in the background. Baby, the universe is not necessarily present. Not in the way you think, not immediately, and not all the time. It’s not that deep. I keep telling people. It is not that deep.
When people speak in absolutes like this, they do leave out the majority and the actual human experience. Because I had to work with a lot of people using tarot cards, and everybody was different. They had different hooks. Now if there was some toxicity in your life, I can tell y’all, all the toxic stuff was the same, but the individual, the process was unique and different. So to automatically assume some sort of negativity in 2025 about a person because of a reversal while you’re reading for them, you are the one that’s cutting yourself off of the authenticity.
What you want is for your querent to come back and y’all basically be on the same page. You don’t want them to come back and y’all still stuck on the same page, not progressing. But that’s different if you just have a little tarot window where you offer tarot readings, you give the person a reading, you take the money, and you close the window. That’s different from a hustling tarot reader, and no shame to the hustling tarot readers. Do your thing, please. Because if people don’t wanna go to a real therapist out here in the world, and all you can do is do your best through giving tarot readings, that’s better than nothing.
People, I’m talking to y’all, don’t play in your lower self. You don’t have fun down in the dumps. Depression is not natural for you. You know it. People swinging back and forth between their higher self and their lower self is like watching a movie: the beginning of the movie you laughing, the end of the movie you crying. Well, on paper, that is psychotic. All things in context, the psychotic portion would be outside of a movie and you acting like that. But the world is being pushed into psychotic ways. You should just be aware of it.
