Stay in School for the Free Ride

July 11, 2022

Stay in school, or go to school. When I say stay in school and go back to school, I mean college. And if you’re a very young person, like if you’re a teenager and you’re in high school, go back. If you’re not there, go back to school. And I’m not saying go back for what the government and what the parents tell you to go back for. No, go back for the experience. Go back for the experience of being around a bunch of people your age, and the free ride.

When I say the free ride, that means when you go to school, you have people taking care of you, which is your parents, and then you have teachers who put on the appearance that they care about you. That’s just a resemblance, and so you can charge them for that. These people in general signed up to basically babysit you, or teach you something for the day. And so in those types of situations, you can experiment. You have plenty of time to experiment. You can’t really do that when you’re an adult.

You can experiment with psychology, you can experiment with people, you can experiment with bullies, you can experiment with your mindset. And I’m just trying to get you to slow down before you throw away your opportunity to actually have something to do. Because when you’re an adult, you don’t have anything to do. All you can do is just go to work. When you’re younger, you have time to learn about metaphysics and all this other stuff, and you can slow down, because your parents will always accept you, or whoever is taking care of you will accept you, as long as you’re doing something with your time. That’s basically the trade off of being here on the planet. As long as you’re in school, or you’re working, not only will the people around you support you for longer, but so will the universe.

So you can buy more time instead of rushing and getting out there and crashing. Cause usually as adults, when we leave home early and your parents aren’t rich, even if they are rich, you leave home early, you usually crash. You can do the whole Gary V, Eric Thomas, fight hard and struggle up out of it, or you can get with the times and use these as opportunities. You can literally transform yourself, like a Transformer.

You can talk to a teacher longer, and ask them a couple of more questions, instead of looking at them like they’re aliens. You can take the time to talk to the principal. If you get sent to the principal’s office, pick his brain or her brain. It might seem boring to you, but you gotta have a different viewpoint. Remember, you’re not burdened by society to pay bills and pay for all of these things. Stick around for the free ride and cultivate yourself. Why? Because once you get out there into the world, the more cultivation you have, the better you get the jobs.

Now another point I wanna make is a lot of spiritual gurus will tell you you don’t need school. Meanwhile, what have they done? They have signed up their children to the next best school, but they tell you don’t go to school, and how bad school is, and how horrible school is. They even tell grown people not to go to work. The spiritual community does that. But you know what? The spiritual community is broke, and you’re not, and you’re not supposed to be broke. Broke and spiritual, they don’t go together. That is impossible. You can’t be broke and spiritual. That is the truth.

They’ll tell you all school is for is people to go and be programmed. It’s not, not if you’re awake. When I say awake, that means when you go to school, you’re not just waiting to be prodded. Poke, prod, poke. You’re there, you awake, you see what’s going on.

And no, do not pay financial aid back. If you qualify for it, good, take it and go to school. Don’t let it stress you out, because it is not a crime not to pay back financial aid. They are not gonna come and lock you up. And if you don’t know what to take, take languages. You don’t like school? Take a language. That’s gonna put you immediately in society, as opposed to someone who learned a job. You’ll have an actual real world thing that you can apply immediately, and the people who you will bump into will naturally be a little up here, cause they’re cultured.

Stay in school by any means necessary, and stay in as long as you can. Even after you leave and you become an adult and you have your family, or your job, your career, still keep learning. Use it as a benefit. Think of it as a free ride. Don’t think of it as some sort of torturous thing that you have to do. Yeah, you might have to wake up early to go there every day, and you absolutely detest it. And yeah, you might be able to make more money out of school than you can in school. But there are things in school that you can never, ever learn in the real world. And that is social. The fact that there are other humans here on the planet.
