Can You Afford It, and Is It Worth It?

July 8, 2024

Look at this story with this lady. It says here: I rented a house for them two days after I saw them sleeping on the floor. I bought them a bed, fan, gas cooker, paid for electricity, provisions, gave her cash, and just today I was telling her I will give her money to start a food business, and this night I saw them sleeping on the same spot where I picked them up from.

Why are you doing this? Why did you buy her a house? Why did you put them in their bed? Why did you buy their cooker and pay for the electricity? That’s the question. Why in the world did you go all the way out and build an entire lifestyle for these people that you found on the street?

And the lady don’t even hardly care. Is she embarrassed? I don’t think so, because there’s a guy who went viral about making $100,000 begging on the street. He told us the truth. He said, man, I make about 60,000 to $100,000 begging on the street. And when I was growing up, the going rate was anywhere from 350 to $750 a week on the street. That’s how much the beggars get paid.

I have a huge question. Why did you do all of these things for this woman that you found sleeping on the street? You’re gonna say you did it for the children. Oh, look how big those children are. They’re not breastfeeding babies. Why would you do all of that? I think this woman deserved to get taken advantage of, because there’s so many other ways you can help people. Namely, give them something to eat. But to take them off the street and put them up and all of this is beyond you, and you didn’t catch none of the shadiness that was going on.

I hope y’all not out here doing stuff like this. I know a girl who’s out here doing stuff like this. I have a sneaky suspicion that she’s taking care of her mom with five extra children. She can’t get her life together. She can’t get herself on the road, and her mentality is that just because her mom is out on the street, she have to do this. She’s supposed to take care of her family. And that’s just not true. You could just move on and go on with your life.

But as a person living on the planet, we have to weigh things out. And so what people should do, to see if they should move forward in taking care of somebody else, is one: can you afford it? This lady can afford it, to the point where she can stand on the corner and put her finger in people’s faces and yell at them. So she could definitely triple time afford it, because she did everything and put four people up and paid for everything for them in a home. Then the lady said she was going to give her money to start a business. This lady don’t want to start a business. So that leads me to my second point: is it worth it?

One, can you afford it? Is it going to take food out of your mouth, or cramp your style when it comes to your lifestyle? Secondly, are the people worth it? These people aren’t worth it. Should have left the mama on the street, brought the boys in, put them in the mother-in-law suite, and that’s it. Take care of the children and leave the mama out there on the street. It might seem cold, but I don’t think the mom would have minded. See, you got to work together in community situations. You can’t all the time call people out, curse them out, shame them and slime them. That’s not even worth it at the end of the day.
