Colors Do Mean a Lot
These colors of the clergy kind of touch on where they got it from. So here we go, the liturgical colors in the church. Purple and violet, that’s pretty ancient, pretty rare. They’re saying this color symbolizes penance, preparation, sacrifice, reflection. It calls us to repentance, humility and spiritual readiness. It is used during Advent. Now, you guys, all of this stuff is stuff that you can do the same thing too. They have taken from authentic universal principles and morphed them into something else, with your help, because you are the one who agreed to these terms. And so they use them the way they see fit, even though the basis is not true. You made it true, just like you create value of any given thing. You can make a grain of sand worth a thousand dollars. They can only present it to you, and once you as a human say yes, that is worth a thousand dollars, they’re gonna slap a ticket on it.
Green, Earth. All things considered, green is Earth. All the things that come to mind when you think about the color green, and how does it make you feel when you’re confronted with it? Think of all the different kind of greens. Which one don’t you like? I’m not crazy about turquoise, but that’s not green.
Red. A whole lot of stuff comes to you naturally, which we know: red is fire, action, high spirit. They say Holy Spirit presence here, the color ignites our faith. It don’t ignite. It is ignition in general, period. All this other stuff about ignite your faith, a lot of stuff be missing, just to keep the hooks in your nose and riding you around. That is devotion that they’re saying. But it’s not. It’s the initiation, you guys. Red is the initiation. You initiate. You are the supreme initiator. You don’t have to be initiated into other things if you don’t want to.
White is bright, out loud, top, high, visible, but it’s not enlightening. That’s purple. And here it says purity, joy, Virgin Mary. So I believe in the purity thing. I have to, because of the Haitian thing. But it’s not Easter and Christmas. That’s pink. Easter and the rest of those spring colors, that’s pink. And then here it says, see how they mix it up, rose and pink, it reminds us of approaching celebration. How can Christmas and Easter be an approaching celebration when there are two different seasons? Rose, that is pink. It’s more opulence and luxury. So y’all see the dresses that they make those men wear. I’ll call it symbology. And if I say you see the dresses that they make those men wear, maybe you never thought about it as a dress before. Maybe you thought about it as a smock or a muumuu or something like that.
That’s just something I want to point out about all these colors. Colors do mean a lot. Y’all know this. Ask the advertisers. And it works.
