Take Your Time Back
Sometimes we put things above living in general. Taking the baby to some sort of fun day with Pops or Mom and stuff like that, as opposed to constantly saving money to buy new clothes so the baby can look good. Looking good and bored. The living would be just having fun, letting the baby be barefoot. It’s just an example. It’s not a parenting thing. I’m just giving an example of living and living. One of them is making a life, and one of them is living and building a life. Now, it might not seem important now, but trust me, the idea of living a life is essential, because once again, we don’t have that much time on the planet.
It’s essential. Live even though you got to work. That is the way to think about it. Think about it and say, you know what, come hell or high water, I’m going to get some liberty out of this moment, this life, this month, this week, however you can slice it.
And since there’s so much time, how was there so much time? We have seconds, minutes, hours, days, years and months. It is not normal, even if it has been normalized, not to take out at least five or 10 minutes for yourself for the whole 365 day year, and then at the end of the year you say, oh, well, I never took time for myself, and then 40 years go by. No, it’s not okay. Even though it’s been normalized, it’s not actuality.
And it’s a matter, once again, of taking your time. The idea, you guys, is to take your time. They’re not going to give it to you. You’re not going to get time, unless the only time they give you is prison. Think about it. So in your head, the idea is to take time. Grab hold of time. How does time usually work? It just swirls about. It swirls around you. Then you engage. You get up, you jump into the swirl, because there are things that need to be done. Well, it’s important to be aware that you’re just swirling, and that you have not in fact taken back time. Bathing is not taking back time. Getting your nails done is not taking back time. All of those count, but what actually matters is the moment you realize, okay, this is having time. I’ve taken some time back. Okay, now I have obtained more time. Oh, look at this. This must be what it feels like to have time.
You take it, now you have it. Time is an object. It’s an object. You take the time, now you have time, because it’s not going to be given to you. That’s just not the way the words are formed, outside of a courthouse. They’ll give you plenty time there. But you yourself, the idea of taking your own time. Think about it, even if it means at the steering wheel. Prioritizing time is different than taking your time back, but neither one of them is better than the next. So I just want to put that in your mind today, because that’s important. We go, and we go, and we go, and we keep going.
