The Closest We Should Get to Artificial Is a Movie Theater

December 15, 2025

Y’all look at this new Super Dome thing in Las Vegas. It’s supposed to be immersive, whatever, whatever, but I don’t get it. You’re surrounded by TV. It’s like being inside of TV. It’s just so unimpressive, because you look down at the stage, you’re thinking, okay, they’re projecting the stage up here. No, they have a bunch of other things going on up here, and then the person who you actually come to see is on this itty bitty stage. The stage is so little.

And that’s all people want to do is experience the artificial. You just want to sit somewhere and experience maybe a giant hand coming down and touching you. It’s like the itch you can’t scratch. I think artificial stuff is like that. Even the scripts that the chatbots are spitting out, it’s like, this is good, but some sort of essence is missing. It’s not palpable.

I think entertainment should be palpable, and the closest we should get to artificial is a movie theater. So they just remaking the movie theater experience, because when you go to the movies you feel engulfed. But I guess that’s not enough for some crackheads.
